Connect.DC, the District's Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) Digital Inclusion Initiative, in partnership with the Office of Partnership and Grant Services (OPGS), offered a workshop on grant proposal writing basics on March 26, 2013. The workshop included: tips, dos and don’ts, and information on how to complete the required District forms.
Over 40 nonprofit, community based and faith based organizations participated in this event. The Grant Proposal Writing 101 workshop equipped participants with tools and resources for effective proposal writing and provided information on how to navigate the District’s proposal process and requirements.
