The Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grant Services’ (OPGS) is hosting the forum entitled, “Diversifying Your Income Stream: Collaborating with Crowdfunding Service Providers.” The forum provides an opportunity for nonprofits serving DC residents to learn about the diverse on-line fundraising services offered by nationally recognized crowd funders such as Network for Good, GlobalGiving, and others. Nonprofits will acquire the information needed to determine which of the crowdfunding service providers’ technical services best fits their on-line fundraising needs. The session will discuss how nonprofits can effectively mobilize on-line donor support, and become a high performance crowdfunding recipient. The participants will also have time to ‘Speed Date’ with the presenters. The session will be held at the Charles Sumner Museum and Archive located 1201 17th St. NW on Thursday, January 16th from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
