Does your organization need to be resuscitated? The Office of Partnerships and Grant Services is hosting a workshop called “Do you need to Breathe Life Back into Your Organization” on Tuesday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at One Judiciary Square, Room 1117. The workshop will focus on organizational performance management standards and plans. Performance Management is a critical component of an organization’s overall health and its ability to strengthen its capacity to build a dynamic work force ready to meet the challenges of a global market place. The size of an organization is not an indicator as to whether performance management plans and tools are needed. Rather, the mere existence of an organization, calls for the establishment of a set of consistent, flexible, objective performance standards and plans imperative to promote the growth of the organization and its people in partnership to meet the overarching goals and objectives of the enterprise. Performance plans and standards enhance, track, monitor and target organizational challenges that may potentially weaken an agency’s ability to thrive and survive in a constantly changing market with global implications.
