Are you ready for your organization to become profitable? The Office of Partnerships and Grant Service (OPGS) is hosting a workshop on how your organization can become A Magnet-For-Money.   OPGS is  collaborating with local attorneys, organizational leaders and authors of the new bestselling book “COMMUNITY INVESTORS: Making Money While Making Social Change” who will share their strategies to equip your organization in developing multiple streams of income, understand the difference between net profits and cash reserves, and move you along the wealth-building continuum.  The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14 from 10:00am – 1:00pm at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street, NW, Room 1107.  This workshop is designed for tax exempt organizations that are interested in expanding their resources by learning about economic opportunities in the tax-exempt arena.  The panelist will share their strategies to equip your organization in developing multiple streams of income, understand the difference between net profits and cash reserves, and move you along the wealth-building continuum.  Armed with the right strategic plan, action plan and/or business plan, a “Community Investor” can become a “magnet for money” – making money while making social change.  The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14 from 10:00am – 1:00 pm at One Judiciary Square, 441 4th Street, NW, Room 1107.
