OPGS houses the Grants Information Resource Center (GIRC) which provides one-on-one technical assistance to District community and faith-based organizations, government, and nonprofits grant-seekers.
OPGS offers a variety of seminars and workshops for local nonprofit executives, covering topics such as board development, fundraising, grant development, proposal writing, and others.

Throughout the year, OPGS hosts donations management training workshops for District agencies like DCPS.
